Gifted Education Programs

Our school adopts the “Three-Tier Implementation Model” suggested by the Education Bureau to plan and implement our School-based Gifted Education Policy.

For Level 1 support, we embed higher-order thinking skills and diversify our in-class learning activities to cater the needs of all students across different forms.

As for Level 2 pull-out programs, we initiate various enrichment activities for our identified gifted learners and learning ambassadors through workshops and meet-up. That way we focus on building students’ capacity in specific skills or learning areas to better support gifted learners innate quest of curiosity.

Additionally, our students also join various off-school gifted programs organised by the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, as well as other universities in Hong Kong so students get to dive deep into particular disciplines they are talented in and develop their research potentials accordingly.  Organisations which our students have been participating in for the pull-out programs include:

The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education

HKU Academy for the Talented

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

The Chinese University of Hong Kong
