School Redevelopment Project |
|
The school’s application for in-situ redevelopment of its premises on Kennedy Road received government approval in December 2010. The redevelopment project divided into two phases which involve demolition of the substandard school premises, renovation of the assembly hall block and construction of new school buildings. Works comply with the standards for a 24-classroom secondary school, as stipulated by the government.

With the completion of Phase One of the School Redevelopment Project in October 2014, the new main block came into use in November 2014. In mid-April 2015, Phase Two of the building project commenced. It involves demolition of the old vacant school compound and construction of an amphitheatre, a library, an open playground and a link bridge joining the main school building and the assembly hall building.

2017 and 2018 saw tremendous challenges and endeavours as the school redevelopment project entered its final stage. By God’s grace, all construction works have reached its full completion. The Full Occupation Permit (OP) was issued on 30 May 2018 and the entire building was handed over to the school on 31 May 2018. The whole school compound has been in use since the school year 2018.
