The Debating Society aims to provide debating related and public speaking activities for members as well as other students who show interest. Workshops are held to introduce debating, speaking and critical-thinking skills for our students. Each year we hold Chinese public-speaking and inter-class Chinese debating for junior form students as well as inter-class English debating for form four and form five students. We also endeavor to hold friendly debates with neighbouring schools to allow our students chances to experience debating without the pressure of a competition. It is hoped that through these activities and experiences that our fellow students can acquire these skills and benefit from them.
